Woke up to snow on the ground this morning! What a pleasant surprise. It’s a bit early for snow in the Murphy area, but welcome nonetheless. It’s been snowing off and on all day. It’s not sticking to the road as the temps are above freezing. That’s good for those having to head out today. My young son had to go out with his F150 Power Wheels and drive in the snow! What fun for him. Am told it’s going to be a cold winter this year. Am looking forward to more snow this season! Happy Holidays!

Like you I am looking forward to more snow! My dogs love it and I must admit it warms my heart as I look at the ice crystals on the creek and the blanket of white on the trees. Today is the Christmas parade downtown – no snow but it is 28 degrees – cold day for watching a parade.
